Design Goes on During Covid-19

At Propel Studio, we’re doing our part to take the recommendations of social distancing seriously. We have made a few temporary changes in how we work:

  • Our staff have all shifted to a working from home

  • Our project meetings have shifted to video conferencing

  • We are now collaborating remotely, utilizing design software & sharing sketches

  • We’re all learning, but so far so good

For new clients who may be interested in working with us, we are still offering design consultations, only now we’ve shifted these online. These have worked well so far. We’ve had people join us by desktop, phone, or tablet - someone recently walked us around their space using their camera phone to share and discuss ideas.

For our existing clients, we continue to push projects forward using video design meetings where we’ve been able to present and have interactive work sessions directly out of our design software, or by sharing and marking up a prepared PDF document. Here is a snapshot of one of our recent meetings for an ADU project in Design Development:

During these challenging times with the Covid-19 pandemic, we are trying our best to move our projects forward while fully embracing the #stayhomesavelives recommendation. Our hearts go out to anyone who has been affected by the Coronavirus, and we thank everyone who is working the front lines of this pandemic to keep us all going and healthy.

Please #stayhomestayhealthy #flattenthecurve and we look forward to being together again on the other side!

Cheers,

The Propel Studio Team
